Everything at Suzanne’s cottage was more than we expected: beyond its listing in every way. Spacious, squeaky clean, light and airy. Better than the photos. Even though we know the Aspotogan peninsula well, it was our first time staying there. The spacious cottage itself left nothing to be added, the view, sunsets, the changing sky, walking, being close to restaurants and necessities at Hubbards, the driving proximity to Chester (the Kiwi Restaurant), Mahone Bay with its churches (The Barn for coffee), world heritage historic, hilly, Lunenberg, (home of the Bluenose which features on the Canadian dime), and the LaHave area (Ploughman’s Lunch West Dublin) are “only the tip of the iceberg”. The short LaHave River ferry is an added pleasure, and the whole area’s beaches are stunning. We shall definitely be back to stay at the Seanery Cottage. Best family holiday ever. Thank you Suzanne.

We stayed at the Seanery main cottage for 6 weeks, and enjoyed every minute! We've already booked for next year for even longer! This is a 100-year old country house with great charm and modern amenities. The sun room, spacious living room, and the fabulous big deck make it very roomy and comfortable. Air conditioning (although we only used it a few times) and three bathrooms, with one a laundry room as well, are a real plus. Suzanne and Tim were superb hosts--incredibly responsive, gracious, fun to meet and get to know, and positive about everything. They responded positively and immediately to every issue, but there were very few. The location of this house--in the middle of the mile-and-a-half shore road--is perfect with a wonderful view of the bay and the wharf and many friendly neighbors walking by. We could not be more pleased and excited than we were about this house--a great find in the Hubbards area, which is easy travel to restaurants, cafes, diners, shops, and more.

My family had a fantastic weeklong reunion at Suzanne’s lovely cottage by the sea. The location can’t be beat!

Enjoyed our stay at The Seanery. Comfortable accomodations, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Cottage was air conditioned but not in 2 of the 3 bedrooms. it could get uncomfortable at night when hot out.
