My husband, dog and I loved staying at The Gateway! It is so adorable and you can tell every corner was decorated with care. Our room was even more spacious than it looked in the photos and we appreciated the bottled spring water in the fridge. Frank and Jackie are amazing hosts.. they have thought of everything and are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Plus they make a delicious breakfast! We will definitely be back, hopefully again and again!

Where to start? Firstly, because the Catskills is notorious for not having service, I missed the multiple messages they left as I arrived fairly late. However I was greeted by Jackie, who is one of the kindest hosts, she insisted with helping us bring in our luggage and was completely understandable re my non replies. The space is BEAUTIFUL! Our room looked even better than the pictures, the main bed wasn’t my fav as my back has become very specific on what it wants. However (and surprisingly) the pull out was just was this aging back needed and I slept like a rock. The morning air is filled with delish scents of morning delights as you walk throughout the bed and breakfast. It almost calls you downstairs and let me tell you, you won’t be disappointed. Although Frank doesn’t consider himself a chef, you’ll quickly disagree when eating the delicious food he prepares. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won’t regret it!

Frank and Jackie run a gorgeous BnB: excellent breakfasts, comfortable rooms, cozy cottage vibes, and a friendly, hospitable atmosphere from the beginning of your stay to the end. we had to check out very early and they put out breakfast bars and coffee first thing before we had to get on the road. We will definitely be returning - and among their other guests I know we're not alone!

It all worked out so well. Great room - lovely hosts - fabulous breakfast. Very clean and cosy . Very dog friendly but did not smell doggy. Had gone up for a friends wedding and feel we got the perfect resting place for myself , partner, daughter and dog!
