Kings Meadows, located 5 kilometres south of Launceston city, is known for its solid 1950’s homes and the beautiful new homes on the hill. Only 7 minutes from the city, it’s an easy drive to town. Launceston City has a variety of exquisite shops, eateries, and recreational grounds such as the beloved City Park, which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys.
Whilst in the CBD, make sure to visit the Cataract Gorge, a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
