Dena was very responsive to our texts. Very private home on a working ranch and “off the beaten highway”, which we enjoyed very much. We had a great time hiking and bike riding, Fall is so beautiful in Modoc County. Rode the Modoc Rail Line (rails to trails conversion) and a few forest service roads plus some hiking in the Warners. Friendly people everywhere, always a wave from the locals as you drive the county roads.

This is such a beautiful ranch. The land and the homestead. You can feel the history, it’s amazing. The home is very clean and comfortable. We are already planning another trip back.

House is beautiful and Dena was helpful. Only complaints were the WiFi password provided by the listing didn’t work. It took over half our stay to get a response. Also a washer and dryer are listed as amenities, there is even a picture of them in the listing. But then in the house rules it says you’re not allowed to use them as it costs them to much.

Place was better than our expectations! Loved it! Comfortable with beautiful surroundings. Loved sitting outside listening to birds and watching horses. House had everything we needed! Hope to return soon!
