This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The unit is at Maquil Villas, which is attached to another lovely hotel, Casa Sol, and there are staff, two restaurants, bottled water and other beverages available for purchase, housekeeping, and other amenities of a hotel. There are also gorgeous views of the ocean and Zipolite beach, a lovely private pool, delicious breakfast, and access to a small private beach where the staff will set up chairs and umbrellas. The staff are friendly and helpful, and gave us great tips on where to eat and how to best enjoy the area. I really can't say enough about this beautiful place. I hope to return one day!

We had an amazing time staying here. The room has incredible views, sunshine over the private pool, open air seating downstairs to hang out and look out at the beach at Zipolite. Upstairs has solid AC and a comfortable king bed. We really loved meeting and being taken care of so well by the staff here. There’s several accessible public pools as well as the private on in the room, a nice cabana to snack at during the day, and a delicious restaurant on site that we ate at 3 times while we were there. We will absolutely be staying here again next time we come to zipolite.

We enjoyed an exceptional stay at this unit ( part of Maquil villas) a tranquil retreat with a private pool and excellent AC. Maquil is also a part of Casa Sole, it offers quick access to a small sandy beach( playa Camaron) and free breakfast. The unit boasts stunning views of Zipolite beach and is a short, albeit hilly, walk to town. The on-site restaurant at Maquil impressed us, and Carlos, a property employee, provided outstanding assistance. Highly recommended for those seeking a relaxed and upscale experience in Zipolite.

This was the loveliest villa we could have imagined. The Maquil staff was so warm and welcoming, the vibe just perfect and the space so lovely, we did not want to leave. Even with several days of rain, there is nowhere else we would have wanted to be. We’ll be back!
