My wife and I stayed for the entire month of February and had a great time. The view is not only fantastic, but is also very dynamic with something going on all the time, pelicans diving, frigate birds overhead, local fishermen setting and hauling nets from a tiny rowboat. Two restaurants are close by, but the walk is very steep. An easy walk to the beach and nature trail, just take the road to the lighthouse and then a trail just to the left of the gate. All the neighbors are very friendly. Albert took me out fishing for lobsters and gave us a couple for dinner. We felt very safe, didn't hear a siren the entire month. We plan on returning next year. A couple of minor issues to be aware of. The driveway is difficult and is best approached by driving past and turning around to approach from the uphill side. The kitchen is quite small with limited cooking, no oven, very small toaster, no blender. Plan on eating out a lot, which is a great option. Highly recommended
