Our designed large two-bedroom apartment is a great place for you to stay on your visit to Grand Rapids. We are 1/4 mile to both an in-town and the major express-way artery allowing you to get anywhere in Grand Rapids easy and fast. 10 minutes or less to Downtown, Airport, Malls, Steelecase, X-Rite. Public Transportation is 200ft from the front of our building. Whether you are traveling to West Michigan for pleasure, business, or living the "digital nomad" lifestyle the Logan suite at Brown Brick Place is the perfect location for your venture. The apartment design is inspired by the local Art Prize competition and we have a collection of mixed genre art throughout. Our furniture is a mixture of new and vintage pieces. We sport two queen size beds. The bedroom windows have both blinds and light-blocking curtains for those looking to sleep-in while traveling. The large living room is home to an over-sized coffee table that is perfect for laying out destination guides to plan your adventures or to play one of the many board games that our unit offers. The kitchen is very large in comparison to most apartments at ~200 sq ft allowing you to prepare any type of meal you wish. Coffee options include a traditional coffee pot. We will provide coffee that is freshly roasted and ground the week that you arrive as well as traditional pre-packaged options. A selection of tea will also be available. There are two desks set up in the unit for remote work.. There is Wi-Fi Internet in the building. A "calm in the hustle" is what you will find at our flat. Our building is nestled in an old neighborhood that is very quiet considering our proximity to a major in-town artery. We are an eighth of a mile from 44th St, a major in-town artery, and a quarter mile from the main freeway 131. As a launch point you can get to almost anywhere in the greater Grand Rapids area in 5 -20 minutes. There is also public transportation less than 200 ft from our building if you won't be renting or bringing a vehicle. If I am available I can pick up from airport but you must arrange with me ahead of time to see if I am available. Kaufman Golf Course- 1 mile Founders Brewing - 5 miles/ 7 minutes Gerald R Ford Airport - 10 minutes (straight shot on 44th street) Downtown(off of 131) - 6 minutes Rivertown Crossings Mall/Cabellas(staight shot on 44th street) - 5 minutes Outlet Malls(131) - 10 minutes Frederick Meijer Gardens - 20 minutes Steelcase(44th) - 5 minutes Lake Michigan - 30 min to 60 min depending which Lake town you wish to visit(my choice, South Haven) We are a remodeled office building converted into apartments. There is a cohost on site as well as other units hosting AirBnb guests and ask that you be respectful of them. The building is free of lead paint and the walls and floors are insulated from each other reducing noise. The Logan unit has its own heating and central air conditioning so you will be able to set the temperature to the degree that you find comfortable. There are smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in the entries and individual apartments. The windows in the building are large egress windows, many AirBnb's are not. Your safety is important to us.
