Our stay at Villa Bale Agung was beyond amazing and exceeded all expectations. The villa itself was stunning and the views were honestly incredible. Ivana and the team at the villa were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. From the views, to the daily breakfasts and everything in between, we could not recommend this place enough!

We paid $10,000, 2 out of 4 nights of our stay had a wedding from neighbouring villa that lasted past 11pm. The owner Nathan didn’t mention the deafening noise at all when we requested to book. The loud and sudden sound even woke our children up crying! We have 5 young children so were looking for tranquility in a secluded location like this villa, but half of our stay were completed disturbed. The villa manager was responsive but always connected us with unreliable vendors. He found us a private boat charter at a cost of $1000, but only to find a completely different but much shabby boat on the day! The vendor offered a $500 off after my friend fell and bruised herself. I’ve mentioned the noise and villa manager to Nathan, but his response was defensive-aggressive. He mentioned a free airport transfer in the end, but we didn’t pay $2500 a night to suffer noise or get injured and be compensated by a free airport transfer! We’d rather leave an honest review for future guests.
