Gerolstein is centrally located between Trier, Koblenz and Bonn, so your accommodation is an excellent starting point for day trips. Highly recommended is a trip to the oldest city in Germany, Trier. Here you can experience the history of the Romans up close and enjoy the old town with a nice glass of Moselle wine. The game park in Daun is also an experience for young and old. A large variety of animals as well as play facilities for the little ones are at your disposal. Upon arrival, you will receive a discount booklet for the city of Gerolstein from the friendly Dutch landlords. This gives you free access to museums and you get discounts on various activities. The park also offers a wide range of leisure activities (for a fee). You can swim your laps in the large indoor pool and then unwind in the sauna. Here you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the Eifel landscape. For the little ones there is a petting zoo, a giant chess game, mini golf and a tennis court. On rainy days, the newly designed central building offers a billiards, air field hockey and other games.
