Built in the late 1950's, "Casa Flor" is a detached property, which retains many original and unique features. Located 2 mins walk from Riells Beach and 5 mins walk from the Old Town. The apartment has been decorated using Vintage, Antique and Bespoke pieces created by us. Casa Flor has its's own swimming pool, large garden area's, outside cooking facilities all of which are here for you to enjoy. We live above the apartment, so are here to welcome you and offer useful information on the area. Free Parking directly outside Casa Flor. The apartment has a comfortable lounge which leads out onto one of our many outside seating areas. It has a separate bedroom with Super king size bed, bedside cabinets, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom has a shower and we provide shower gel, shampoo, and towels. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, and all the basic essentials for preparing meals, it opens up to the dining room which has lovely views over the front gardens. The outside cooking area has a charcoal BBQ, Gas BBQ and food preparation area, and our 'Gaudi' style dining table is ideal for lunch and lazy evening dinners. T-towels and hand soap are also provided. There are the facilities for having your laundry done by arrangement with ourselves, at no cost. There is a Dali Katch Bluetooth speaker for use in the apartment and outside areas. The swimming pool measures 10mx4m and goes to a depth of 2m at one end. The pool area has sun all day and we have also created shaded areas to relax in. The Pool House has it's own Lounge which is Phil's Creative Studio, it is a very different space with Art Installations of all descriptions, paintings, sculptures, lighting, photography. Many pieces are made with recycled items, something which we try to do throughout the property. It has a Vintage Valve Hi Fi system which after a brief demonstration you may use.

If you're looking for a modern, square , white apartment, then Liz and Philip's place is not for you. If however you love the interesting and quirky, if you delight in beautiful gardens and a private pool, if you appreciate what is probably the best hostess ever, ( and we have met many many wonderful hosts/hostesses on Air BnB) then we strongly recommend this place. Beautiful accommodation, lovely people, great location.
Elizabeth & Phil were excellent hosts very friendly and recommended great restaurants and places to visit in the area. The indoor space is very quirky and has everything you need the outside space is spectacular exactly as shown in their listing. We will be back.
Wow, what a gem of a place. Unique home and gardens which have been loving created and curated by Phil & Liz. Location is perfect: easy walking to beaches, restaurants, bars & shops but still feels very secluded and peaceful. Liz and Phil were lovely - friendly, welcoming and had lots of recommendations which were worth following. A definite one for my ‘must return to’ list
Un petit paradis! Elizabeth et Phil sont adorables, bienveillants et aux petits soins. Nous avons apprécié le coin piscine, la literie de qualité, plusieurs espaces à notre entière disposition, un bel extérieur décoré avec soin par la main verte d'Elizabeth et les oeuvres d'art de Phil. Nous regrettons déjà d'être partis...
Nous recommandons ce logement avec mon conjoint ; nous y avons passé un incroyable séjour en juillet. Habitués des logements Airbnb, celui-ci a été plus qu'à la hauteur de nos attentes : des hôtes autant bienveillants qu'accessibles, lieu à 5min de la mer et proche de la vieille ville, une piscine tellement agréable, et surtout l'ambiance générale de la maison. Il y a toujours quelque chose à voir ou à faire dans le jardin ! Je vous recommande absolument ce logement, ce serait une erreur de ne pas le réserver. Merci à Élisabeth et Phil, vous êtes vraiment super !

Casa Flor is located just a few minutes walk from the Blue Flag beach of Riells and the Passeig del Mar walkway with it's stunning views over the Bay of Rosas. Cafe's, Bars, Restaurants and Shops are all within a few minutes walk. The beautiful Beaches of Empuries are approximately a 20 minute walk away, and the Marina a 15 minute walk, from the Marina you can enjoy a walk to Cala Montgo across the cliff tops. The property is located in a good position to explore L'Escala by foot. There is a pick up point for the L'Escala Road Train which runs between Cala Montgo and the medieval village of Sant Marti D'Empuries 2 mins away.
All amenities are accessible on foot. There is free parking all along the main streets next to Pasatge Flor. Bike hire is available from a local bike shop 5 minutes walk from Casa Flor.
