Beautiful place with a stunning view ! Perfect spot to wind down..Janaka was the perfect host. Very helpful, friendly and proactive. Janaka’s wife’s cooking reminds me of home. I will be definitely visiting soon.

Our stay at Ajit’s place was truly remarkable! Nestled amidst the serene hills, it's just a scenic 40-minute drive from the bustling city of Kandy. The culinary experience was outstanding, with delectable Sri Lankan cuisine that truly captures the essence of the region. Our room was not only spacious but also had a distinctive touch with a mountain rock cutting right into it, adding to its charm. The bathrooms were impeccably clean and spacious, with a refreshing fragrance. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the opportunity for mesmerizing stargazing at night. Janaka, the caretaker of the property, was an exceptional host, always available and incredibly friendly. Though our stay was short, we're already planning our return for a longer, unforgettable experience!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, Gastgeber nett, Zimmer sauber. Das einzige was nicht gepasst hat, war die Lage: aus der Beschreibung ist unserer Meinung nach nicht ganz klar geworden, dass es seeeehr weit weg vom Zentrum Kandys war und auch eigentlich nicht mehr zu Kandy gehört. Mit dem Tuk Tuk ist man 40-50 Minuten unterwegs.

We loved staying here as it was very peaceful and a very stylish cottage. The food cooked by the hosts was delicious and reasonably priced. One tip is to make sure you buy some supplies before getting to the property as it is a 40 min drive from Kandy centre and there was not any local shops around.
