An absolute VFM deal, felt happy to have chosen Rayon Du Soleil. Walkable from all the important areas. We stayed for a short 3 nights, but got time to truly soak in the house. Well laid out rooms, and valueable amenities. Balconies are useful for drying clothes after a beach visit especially. The cleaning service was prompt and thorough. Apart from a stray lizard, everything else was spotless. Excellent communication and coordination from John, manager. My only recommendation will be to install curtains as the east/west facing balconies will blast you with sunlight in case you want to have a late day. Another nitpick would be the lack of a microwave oven, but the other kitchen amenities more than made up for it. This place will be my first choice if I happen to return to Pondicherry
I can effortlessly say that this is the best place for the budget. And every good restaurant and cafe are very close. The guidebook they have helped a ton.
Great place!
It was great stay and the location was convenient. There was a list of the host’s favourite shops and salons in the house which was very helpful to us. The only problem we had was the Wifi issue. It was on n off. Other than that it was a great place to stay with family.
The place is situated right in the heart of white town/heritage town. Every famous restaurant is a stone throw away. The beach is quite closer too. Saying this place is beautiful would be an understatement. It is aesthetic, private and spacious. The management office is two blocks away and the manager John was helpful. If you are looking for a space with friends or Family, this is your place! Absolutely, No complaints! Note, they are particular about the checkout timings. However, they do offer to let you keep the luggages in the office for a brief period.

自我介绍
We live in London but have an apartment in Pondicherry, which we use when we come to India every couple of years or so. Pondicherry is where my father was born and grew up and from where his family hails. London is where I live and work, although I am Parisian born. After many years in the corporate world, I decided to follow my passion for art. I went to art school to get a more formal art training and I now have an art studio in partnership with 2 other artists, based in West London. We teach art to adults and children in all sorts of 2 D medium from oil, watercolour, acrylic, to pastel, graphite and colour pencils and ink and even have students doing collages with all sorts of materials. I am also a working artist and you can see some of my work on the walls in the apartment and rooms. My work often has a cross cultural narrative based on extensive travel and familial connections to India, its colour, culture and architecture. I also like to add poignancy to my compositions through isolation and use of negative space.
