The house is functional and the owners really nice and helpful but the place is very old and not in a great state of repair. Location is near the pebbly beach and restaurants of Mikri Mantineia. It is up the hill and near the motorway so you need a car to get everywhere. There is aircon in most rooms but one of the bedrooms only had a ceiling fan so we had to leave the door open to keep it cool. The house would also benefit from a deep clean. Overall we did not feel it was great value for money despite the wonderful hosts and lovely outdoor space and pool.

The property has lovely views and a great swimming pool with lovely outside terrace areas. The property was presented as on the photos with the exception of the bathroom which was in poor condition and not to the standard of the rest of the property. There are issues with the power system as it would regularly trip out if using the aircon with other appliances. We worked out how to reset this ourselves after it happened a number of times. There is some road noise as it is situated on a bend with road noise front and back.

This place is a hidden gem!!! Perfect for our family of 2 children and 4 adults. Amazing hosts and great location, a little walk down the hill to a few amazing bars, the beach and a very short drive into kalamata. A good base for other places of interest too. There are local shops nearby to stock up on essentials. The hosts can’t do enough for you, we couldn’t recommend this home away from home enough. The hosts were kind enough to share the most delicious home cooked food with us and fruit and veg straight from their garden. This definitely made our holiday extra special and memorable. We will definitely be back!!

Hosts were very polite and everything was as promised. Great for staying with family or friends. Close to the sea and the restaurants at the beach. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone that wants to spend their time close to kalamata!
