Shawn’s place was stunning! Truly felt like a home away from home. The cabin felt so secluded and was extremely cozy (the floor heating was luxurious!). The bed and couches were so comfortable, we had everything we needed in the kitchen, the walks around the property were awesome and it was so nice relaxing on the deck. Myself and my partner had to do some work whilst we were there and the Wifi was extremely fast and reliable. We’ll definitely be back!

This was the perfect getaway for two adults and a dog. On rainy days, we snuggled in with books and coffee; on sunny days, we headed to nearby trails then came back for naps. We brought groceries and ate in almost every meal; the kitchen was well stocked with basics. Wi-Fi is great, cell service is less so (which might be a plus). For people who bring dogs: there are short trails up the hill out back that are great for potty breaks or running out some energy, and the grassy area around the cabin is plenty big for fetch. If your dog is less than perfectly reliable around wildlife, there's a generous tie-down on the back porch. There is a neighbor dog who occasionally pops by and a couple of cats, so if your dog is not cool with that, just keep an eye on them. Otherwise, it's a super dog-friendly cabin.

Perfect Airbnb and amazing host. Shawn has thought of everything to make this home peaceful and functional. Location is amazing, highly recommend the beach at sitka sedge short drive away. 10/10 no notes.

This cabin getaway was everything we could hope for. Serene, interesting, and cozy. Close enough to stores, sights, and town, but far enough away that you're left alone. The cabin itself is really cool with all the glass and you're well outfitted with a humourous guidebook to help you on your way. Perfect.
