We absolutely loved staying in Lindsay's stunning apartment. The location is wonderful with the most beautiful views across the valley. The apartment itself is fantastic - definite wow factor. Comfortable bedrooms, great bathroom, and full of interesting art and beautiful books. Big picture windows, an Aga and even a small piano. We spent a lot of time sitting on the terrace in the sun soaking up the view. It's a very peaceful place to just relax and listen to the birdsong. When we did manage to tear ourselves away, this was a great location to split our time between the countryside and the city. We used the local bus and taxis to get in and out of town - it's also walkable if you're not in a hurry. We also walked to the pub in Monkton Combe (nice chips) and walked the Bath Skyline route, which is easy to access from Combe Down. It was a perfect home for a long weekend and we would love to stay again. Thanks so much, Lindsay.

We had the best stay at Lindsay’s over Christmas. She has a beautiful home with great walks near by. Lindsay is also very responsive and helpful if you need anything from her. I would definitely recommend staying here and would love to visit again in the summer months so we can enjoy the balcony.

The property is in a beautiful, quiet position and yet very accessible for Bath city centre. The main room in the flat is a lovely area for entertaining and is full of interesting objects and plants.

The Paper Mill is a wonderful, peaceful retreat. It is in a fabulous setting with beautiful views and all kinds of wildlife around. It has everything you need and a few lovely thoughtful touches. The walks around the area are very good and easy to follow. We ate at two of the pubs nearby that Lindsay recommended and really enjoyed the food. Lindsay was an exceptional host and we would definitely consider staying at the The Paper Mill next time we are in the area.
