The place is fabulous! Do you want to experience the real Svaneti? This is the place to go. It’s a small community of old people in between Mestia and Ushghuli. You will need a 4WD to get there until they finish fixing the road and it will take at least 1.3h from Mestia to there. Once you are there you are in the middle of nowhere: the biggest stars you’ve ever seen, beautiful setting surrounded by the mountains, nice hikes and just 1h from Ushghuli. I was traveling with my 4yo son who loved seeing the cows and the goats! He helped the shepherds bring the goats in for the night, he was the happiest kid. I’m actually sorry that we only stayed for 2 nights!

It is so difficult to search the exact location if following the address on Airbnb. It has a big difference. However we finally arrive there with the help of the cottage people and the house host. The family are warm-hearted to welcome us and provide with the nature food. We love them. It should be better to make the room clean.
