The house is a nice house with lots of space to spread out. Upon entering the house, we all thought the house was beautiful. As we looked a little closer, it was apparent the home is due for a deep cleaning and replacement of towels, bedding, kitchen supplies, as well as the bbq grill. I did reach out to Maggie on the issues of cleanliness of most of the items. With her excellent reviews, I would think she would go in and do the deep cleaning and replace the necessary items to bring the house back up to where it sounds like it once was. If you plan on staying here, just make sure the house has had the deep clean and items replaced where needed.

Nice and clean home. Quiet and private neighborhood. A little overpriced maybe the season or time of year but still worth it. Mahalo!

This was a great find! The home is spacious and pristine! It’s a cozy place to hang out even if you decide to stay in and spend time indoors. The kitchen is well stocked and Maggi reminded us several times to use the provided filter as the water is from catchment. There were a lot of extra towels if necessary. There were enough pots and pans and appliances to cook and serve a serious meal. I was a little nervous when I saw how close the home is to a state highway, but there is no noise from the traffic at all! All you hear is song birds and frogs, only nature. I loved to live in a “non-touristy” area and get a feel for the place. If I visit Hilo again, I will definitely try to book this home again
