Such a beautiful hill country house. Private. Sunsets. Acres of land to explore. It was an easy drive from Blanco.

We loved it! It was a country vacation with all the views you imagine! We hiked the place daily and every trail led to some new view or find.......did I mention the sunrise and sunsets! I am a city gal and my grown up kids love nature and remote country sites----- we found it here! Beds were comfy too! We will be back. Also, the owner, Chuck was a text away.......answered everything within a minute! A+ stay!

What a blessing this property is for travelers to the hill country! Feels so secluded but town is only 4 miles away. Our group of 8 treasured our long weekend there. The whole place was very clean and there weren’t any bugs which you might expect out in the country. Wifi is great and two folks had no trouble working remotely. The public area (kitchen/dining/living area) is absolutely ginormous and totally open so we were all able to be together even during meal prep and cleanup. The stove/oven is top notch and the kitchen is well- appointed. The water dispenser even dispenses COLD water so we didn’t need as much ice for the weekend. The coffee machine uses pods but also has a section to brew a small pot- it was nice to have both options. The master bedroom is huge and it’s bathroom’s two separate sink areas was awesome. There’s also a second huge closet in the master bathroom which was enormous. You can step right out to the hot tub from the master bathroom. All the beds were very high quality and the sheets were velvety smooth. One of the other bedrooms has an attached bathroom that was big enough for a pack&play. Curtains separate the bathroom from the bedroom and it was enough to prevent the baby from waking up when her parents came to bed. We enjoyed using both large tables on the back patio and it was nice to have a choice when someone was seeking shade at certain times of the day. The pool is fantastic- it was very clean, has a nice wide first step which was a comfortable place to sit while the toddler played happily for a long time. The sound of the water feature of the pool made the environment of the back yard so relaxing. You could just feel your blood pressure dropping. We also used the 100 year old cabin and enjoyed the remote controlled AC unit. My daughter said it was great because it ran the whole time and they weren’t bothered by the unit turning off and on all night as sometimes happens in hotel room units. The back yard provides a ton of shade in the afternoon and we were able to grill and enjoy our cornhole game that we brought. Enjoying dinner at the lower table next to the pool gives a perfect view of the sunset. I highly recommend this spacious home for any groups wanting to stay out in the country with plenty of room to visit within the home and on the grounds as well.
