Our stay was better than expected, the neighborhood was very peaceful. It was just close enough to where we needed to be. Check in was easy and the house was clean and very inviting.

We were in town to deal with a family emergency, not for pleasure, so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor activities that appeared to be quite nice. The home is fairly well equipped and stocked, though as a 4br/3 bath listing it is a bit deceiving in terms of usability. Two br on the main floor are very nice and have direct bathroom access. They are adjacent to the main living space, so anyone trying to sleep while others are active in the house may be a bit difficult. BR3 is in the basement. When we visited the temps ranged from 30 to 60 and it was VERY cold in the basement. There are space heaters provided, but overall it is not a very comfortable situation. BR4 is a loft above the kitchen that is accessed from a set of pull down attic stairs in the kitchen ceiling. The inconvenience aside, I would not be comfortable putting guests or children in that space from a safety standpoint. Overall, the home was fine for our needs, and the price was very reasonable.

Perfect location for our weekend getaway! The Tryon International Equestrian Center, and several of the wineries were in close proximity. The neighborhood is easily accessible from US 74, yet secluded and quiet. We put the den and wonderful stone fireplace to good use as our gathering spot in the house. We would definitely stay there again!

This was the second year in a row when have come to stay. we love this place. the property is quite and peaceful. the house has all the space you can need. we used the fireplace and pool table both nights. the pictures don't do this place justice. it is even better in person. we plan on making this our yearly February trip.
