Really lovely property with loads of space. Beautiful courtyard with long table shaded by mature trees leading to a secluded heated pool with sun loungers and shaded areas to relax. The village is very small but has a free tennis court which we loved, shop that serves beer and coffee and has fresh croissant and bread daily 2 min walk away, also has a boules club who welcomed us when we joined in. You can walk to the river and swim or watch the kingfishers. We had lots of recommendations about restaurants and markets from the host who was really helpful. Kitchen is well equipped and there’s books, games, rackets , boules, inflatables etc to borrow. Had a really lovely holiday.

Peters place was a fantastic base for exploring lots of nearby towns,lakes.rivers and seaside so many beautiful places within a very short drive - the house was superb lovely bedrooms (spacious) with a big kitchen/diner. The outdoor space was very private with lovely outdoor dining area complete with large trees providing well needed shade, the pool area was an absolute joy for the whole family also with it being secured from the dining area for the little ones was a bonus. Peter was extremely friendly and helpful giving local suggestions we (all 12 of us) would definitely visit again.

Notre séjour c'est très bien passé; La maison est proche de plusieurs sites interessants. Ainsi, nous avons visité, Saint guilhem Le Désert, Le Pont Du Diable, le lac du Salagou Méze et Sète à demi-heure environ de la maison et enfin le site vraiment magnifique du cirque de Navacelle à 1h de la maison mais qui vaut le détour.

Peter couldn’t have been more helpful with quick responses to our queries both before and during our stay. He was also very accommodating - putting a desk in so we could work and the wifi was excellent enabling us to do video calls etc without any issue. Peter was there when we arrived and gave us a tour. He left a supply of all the essentials - dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, olive oil and some wine! Peter also arranged a tour of the local vineyard. The house is beautiful, spacious and homely with great indoor and outdoor spaces. We were able to host various meetings groups of friends and family comfortably. However, in the first week of August it got very hot (and in particular in the attic rooms) which made it difficult to sleep, even with the fans. Once the temperature dropped it was more comfortable. The house is well located with easy travel south to the beaches (Meze, Marseillan plage and Vias Plage) and north to Lac du Salagou and St Guillaume le Desert. We loved swimming in both the pool and the local river and used the village tennis court on multiple occasions. The house is, however, on a main road with through traffic and farm vehicles. We highly recommend using the épicerie for daily bread and pastries and the Thursday night pizza van. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic French village holiday experience.

Big, spacious house for big groups with a great pool. 40 min from Montpellier. The communication with Peter was very good and his knowledge of the surrounding area was a great asset.
