UPDATES UPDATES UPDATES!!! This will be our fourth summer season as Super Hosts with airbnb (time flies when you’re having fun!) and as you can see from almost 100 positive reviews, we take pride in providing our guests with a uniquely comfortable and safe “mid-island crash pad” from which to bounce around this little island of Nantucket. But what makes us different from other airbnb’s? Maybe it’s our location - we’re not near the airport like other listings are but still claim to be mid-island (and glad we aren’t since it’s the busiest airport on the east coast come summer.) We’re actually about a 15 minute walk from downtown (30 if you stop to marvel at all the beautiful gray shingled homes and hydrangea-filled yards) and about a six minute walk from The Mid Island Stop & Shop and liquor store for all your provisioning needs. On top of that, there’s a shuttle that can pick you up at the end of our street every 15 minutes and whisk you to every major corner of the island, not to mention a plethora of Ubers, Lyft and good ol’ taxis too. But this year is different. Things needed a revamp. So we bought a few things. A fancy new Pottery Barn swivel mirror in the bathroom, new linens for the queen bed, a new shower head, new Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs, a new Keurig coffee maker, a new outdoor patio bistro set and much, much more… Just a few things to show our appreciation to our guests, hoping their stay is just that much better. We aren’t just airbnb hosts - we’re also travel writers for Nantucket with work appearing in all the local publications including Boston Magazine, so ask us anything; we don’t mind giving you all the recommendations we have : ) Now bring on Summer 2022!!!
