Such a lovely property! This cottage was very charming, cute and cozy. Secluded and peaceful on a beautiful lake. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the bed was comfy. The fireplace was perfect for us to snuggle up during the cool evenings. Cindy was an absolute delight to deal with. Great communication! Would love to return some day.
Loved the peaceful setting at the lake. So much to do in the area we never had time to use the paddle board and kayak. This is a great location for exploring the South Shore and Annapolis Valley, with several good hikes nearby, some good restaurants, and really good wineries within an hour's drive. Cindy and Duncan were excellent hosts. Great communication, and Duncan even came out to give us some assistance at one point. The place was relaxed and cozy, but we were out exploring most of the time.

Seul petit bémol, nous aurions apprécié avoir un endroit à l'ombre sur la terrase, comme un petit parasol ! La chambre était très jolie mais nous avons trouvé le matelas un peu dure !! Cute, secluded little cabin beside a beautifully peaceful lake! Rustic, well-lived in interior - The host, Cindy, provided several baskets of goodies/extras in the kitchen and bathroom which were a thoughtful touch ! There is now Wi-fi, a TV (for DVDs), and board games - the exterior deck is the main highlight, and we were lucky with wonderful weather which meant we could enjoy the bbq and dock and water toys! The deck chairs were great, but would have loved the hammock that was on the photos (but not there). The fire pit and woodburner were both prepared for our arrival which was really helpful - the bed was comfortable, kitchen stocked with cooking amenities and water pressure in the 100 year old bath wonderful ! Waking up early and having a coffee on the dock in the morning sun was so peaceful 🤗

自我介绍
I am in my 60s and for well over 30 years now I have worked as a senior communicator, working in public relations and marketing. More than a decade ago, I made a switch and joined forces with my husband, Duncan, and together we formed a media management company. We build and populate web sites, and script, shoot and edit corporate videos for broadcast and the web as well as provide counsel on and implement internet marketing campaigns. It sounds stuffy, dry and (probably) boring but we actually have a lot of fun being creative and meeting some really fine people who are just hard working joes like us. I love to read although I'm not high brow in my selections and often choose a cozy mystery to take to my cozy cottage. We've owned Moss Cottage now for 25 years and it was a central point of happiness for our daughter and her best friends - and by extension Duncan and me. Grown women now, I can still hear them shrieking as they bombed off the dock into the lake and laughing as they roasted marshmallows on sticks they collected from the woods. We will leave our guests to themselves to enjoy their unique versions of happy times but we will take pride in the part Moss Cottage plays in those times.
