Cool little bunkhouse along the river, we tried fishing the river. The host provided us a few fresh farm eggs that we cooked for breakfast. Air mattress stayed full of air all night and was relatively comfortable. We never felt cold in the bunkhouse as there were some extra blankets available. Spotty cell service. A pretty secluded area but was a great spot for us travelling between NB and NS. Host was very kind and helpful.

Pictures don’t do this place justice - it looks much better in real life. Funkie Bunkie brings you closer to the nature with beautiful surroundings and the river right there only a few steps away, but also has all the amenities a modern person would need. Quality of sleep you will get here worth mentioning! Also, Lori is one of the friendliest hosts we’ve ever had - unfortunately we did not get to meet her in person but she was super helpful and proactive with anything we would need. I’m glad we got to stay in Funkie Bunkie and I would definitely recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Funkie Bunkie, such a cozy little bunkhouse with many cute details! Beautiful location along the river. Lori was very friendly and helpful answering our questions and providing lots of info about the area, including great suggestions for restaurants.😊
