This was our 3rd time at Jim and Sara’s beautiful ranch. And we are already booked to return next year, does that tell you anything? Hospitality is outstanding! They have a beautiful barn for our horses and immediate access to National forest lands. What more could horse people ask for. And even if you’re not a horse person, the “cabin” which we stayed in last spring, is in a beautiful setting surrounded by tall Heritage Pines and fragrant junipers. A superbly outfitted home, the view stretches out across the creek and the pasture where horses, donkeys and the Highland Cattle peacefully graze. We like the “cottage” with its big covered deck which we enjoyed rain or shine. The “cottage” is a bit closer to the horses and nestled under mature cottonwoods and on the regular route to get several daily visits by the 3 free roaming alpacas. Thank you Jim and Sara for another wonderful vacation. Everything was perfect!

The only negative thing we can say about our stay at Jim and Sara's Cottage, is that it was SO hard to leave, when it was time to go! We already miss the peace, quiet, relaxed atmosphere, the alpacas, burros, friendly barn cats- we could go on and on... The trail rides through National Forest, on our horse Champ, with Sara as awesome guide - it doesn't get any better! Best vacation rental out there, in our opinion.

Another awesome experience at the Cottage! Jim and Sara never fail to provide a first rate vacation stay. We, and our horse Champ, felt spoiled and happy.

It is truly hard to describe how much I enjoyed my stay. Of course the inside amenities were everything I could have possibly needed, however the front porch was the highlight for me. Watching the desert thunderstorms roll in while reading on the porch was so peaceful, words do not do it justice. The hosts were extremely accommodating on every level and made me feel very welcome. The only thing I could possibly be upset about would be the fact that I should have booked a few more days to enjoy it all.
