We had a wonderful stay at the vineyard. It was a perfect spot for our family vacation. The main building is flooded with light and all the windows let you see the beautiful scenery around you. We really enjoyed the game room. And the young adults took a turn on the swings in the backyard. The bedrooms are comfortable and good sized. The casita is a small house located right beside the main house. It gave our son and daughter in law privacy while having our family together. The view from the front of the house is amazing. The property is located up on a hillside and you look across a valley to mountains! We traveled all around the area, from Chula Vista to La Jolla to Balboa Park to the zoo in Escondido and we found that the vineyard gave us convenient access to all of them as well as a spectacular location. Melinda was very responsive when we had a question. All in all it is a great place for a family or group of friends!

Good location, felt safe and quiet. I do wish the bathroom situation was better. There’s two bathrooms, only one on the side with the bedrooms so the master doesn’t have a bath which can present challenges with multiple people getting ready. Some of the furniture was a bit worn but overall it was a good fit for what we needed. Lots of amenities and lots to keep you busy. Loved the backyard and wish we had more time to enjoy it. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds were comfy and plenty of room for everyone.

Melinda’s place was overall a good experience. We did have a few things we ran into of inconvenience. The main bathroom in the house, water wouldn’t drain in the sink or tub. I reached out to Melinda and she promptly stated she would have someone come out, they never did. I contacted her again and the next day someone came to fix the sink and tub. In addition to this, the floors were really dusty. Walking around our feet turned black. The lighting all around the house was hard to control, the light switches wouldn’t work every time you’d go to use them. Also, none of the apps were signed into on the TV. When we tried to use our own log in information it would just load continuously. Regardless of the hiccups we encountered our stay was good. The kids loved all of the play area. It comfortably fit our large family. It was located in a nice neighborhood.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of entertainment and amenities. Had a relaxing time.
