Minas house is lovely located in the heart of of Kissamos where everything is in walking distance. The house has a good size and is newly renovated. The upstairs smaller bedroom has a lovely view of the ocean. The neighbourhood is generally quiet, the church is close by so occasional church bells and preaching does happen as well as some moped passing by the house. The house is located at a smaller one way street and is much quieter than the big main room not too far away. We enjoyed the peace and the internet worked well for remote work as well. Lots of opportunities to rent a car as well in the area and going to Chania with the public bus takes about an hour. communication with Minas was easy, very responsive and always working to ensure your stay is satisfactory. This place is such little gem in the heart of Kissamos. You are in the midst of the warm, hospitable community there and get a real taste of Cretan life. We received a wonderful tour of the church nearby church and learned much about Greek Orthodox history. Around the corner is a mountain spring fountain from 1520! The beach in town is sweet and the Fallasarna beach is exquisite. MInas responded quickly to our every need & question. We would definitely come back!

My partner and I stayed at the Mina's house for 6 days at the start of Oct 2023. Communication with hosts was first class throughout, they could not have done more for us. The accommodation was exactly as described and is only a short 1 minute walk from the beautiful, little town square where you find many shops and restaurants. All the appliances worked fine; a great shower, fantastic air conditioning in bedroom and living area, internet and everything you might require. The supermarkets nearby have all you need, no need to travel further out of town to a larger supermarket, they are perfect if you wish to cook some meals at home. There is a lovely beach about 5 minutes walk down and to the left, we didn't use the nearest beach. Superb chilled holiday, perfect for sunbathing on the beach and experiencing great food at meal times.

We had a lovely stay in this well equipped house. It was well modernised, with good outside spaces including a lovely shaded balcony off the larger bedroom. It was near the central square and convenient for shops, cafes and tavernas. When we had a slight problem Minas and his family sorted it very quickly.
