This is our 4th time in 4 years at the Cozy Cottage. We come as family of 3 to relax and decompress in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. We have made core memories here that we will remember forever! We are an active family and this really checks off so many boxes for us! There is so much to do here and we have never tired of it. This last time I fell asleep to the sound of the owl hooting and woke to the sound of the coyotes howling. Rick and Valerie are kind, responsive and accommodating hosts! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing place with us!
The Cozy Cottage was the perfect location for a retreat in the woods. The 9-hole mini-golf was fun, the treasure hunt that guides a walk around most of the property was great (the view from the Flagpole!), and the cottage has just enough space to feel comfortable. During the stay Eagle (from the road), Deer (on the property), Owl (on the property), and Coyote (on the road), all appeared! The hot tub off the front patio was a great way to unwind while listening to nature sounds. The kitchen was functional for cooking meals, the living room had a TV with Amazon Firestick and DVD player. Valerie's paintings are a cute touch in and around the cottage (she paints rocks too!). I would stay here again.
We stayed for Thanksgiving weekend and the stay was amazing and great. The hottub was nice and so was the peaceful surroundings.

We have 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren. We love to camp, hike, snow shoe and fish. We love taking care of our 45 acres and the gorgeous river on the property. We enjoy reading in the winter while drinking mocha's in front of the cozy fire. We rely on peace, quiet and serenity to stay grounded. Life is too short not to live everyday like it's your last.
