The place was good but have few things need to be highlight. 1. The main glass door has curtains that are too short,people from outside the house clearly can see inside the house. Restricted for women to bathe and open their private parts. Please look back at the privarcy of this japanese house. 2. The stairs to the bad are too steep, very dangerous for children and pregnant mother. 3. The rest all are okay.

We had a wonderful time staying here for 3 days and 2 nights. Loved the little garden and landscape around the place with scented flowers. Very zen and peaceful stay. Fully rejuvenated and thankful for such a wonderful experience.

host is very helpful but didnt expect the location to be at the very top and quite hard to get there due to the steep and narrow road. the hot shower wasnt working well

Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Quaint and private compound with a few units. Everything was as described, with a common fridge and chiller if you need to store ingredients for own cooking. The stairs to the bed on the second floor was a bit steep but it wasn't an issue for us, however perhaps families with smaller children or elderly have to take note. We were the only ones there for the first night, and was blessed to be able to park our rental car within the compound. Else I think cars have to be parked outside the compound which is just a short walk. The entire surrounding was also well kept with various plants and flowers, complementing the entire experience of the stay.
