Staying here was a wonderful experience. The unit is beautiful and with lots of thoughtful details. The surrounding area of Half Moon Bay is peaceful and picturesque. And William is a kind and accommodating host!

William responded to all my questions promptly. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I hope to return.

William was proactive about reaching out before I booked to let me know there may be some noise issues due to guests staying in their other unit upstairs. I chose to proceed anyway, but the noise from upstairs was evident. The unit itself is comfortable and nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable and the living space was too. The back yard is quaint and shared with the upstairs unit. Could not find a thermostat and it was quite cool inside but there was a small heater provided. The location is great for accessing the HMB harbor and Princeton harbor area which is full of hidden gems. Great hiking, beaches, restaurants all within a couple of miles. Also a great launching point to explore the Nor Cal coast or even get into SF. Appears to be a normally quiet neighborhood although there was significant roadwork during my stay. Ultimately William issued me a partial refund for the inconvenience so you should feel confident he’ll be forthcoming about any potential issues and make it right.

William was always responsive, helpful, and friendly, the neighborhood is safe and pretty walkable, and I enjoyed staying here! I do think it’s important to mention that the unit is dark and when other guests are staying upstairs, it’s extremely loud. When no one was above, it was peaceful and relaxing and I was happy! When occupied, however, I could hear literally everything to the point it was almost unbearable. Luckily I was away most of the time and I’m grateful for William’s communication, but it might not be the spot for you if you’re around often or working from home. Lastly, I was told the hot tub was not maintained yet saw other guests in it — I would have liked to use it too! Thank you William for the stay :)

William was a great host! Extremely responsive and even helped out by offering a generator when a huge storm knocked out power in the neighborhood. The place was beautiful and comfortable to stay in. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice vacation in Half Moon Bay.
