It was very good place much better than I expected

Дом идеально подходит для 4 человек, чистый и светлый, две большие и удобные кровати, но к сожалению нас было пять и одному человеку пришлось спать на детской полу-кровати (дом рассчитан на 6 человек, как сказано в объявлении). Газа в доме не было, завтрак был тоже не включён , получается из еды вы сможете поесть только то что купите в магазине (к сожалению по качеству продукты оставляют желать лучшего). Считаю что цена завышена, особенно учитывая что вы платите за каждого посетителя одинаковую сумму, но спать приходится в разных, а иногда не пригодных для этого условиях. Хозяева не отличились особой приветливостью, иногда и вовсе проходили мимо не поздоровавшись и не замечая.

The host dedicate whole second floor for guests. The second floor has its own bathroom/toilet and small kitchen for cooking/cleaning dishes (however host told us that we need just collect all dishes in sink and she will do the cleaning). There are three big (really big) sleeping rooms with three king sized beds, table and two chars inside. The main huge hall has fireplace (functional, so you can enjoy it at evening time), sofa, coffee table and two comfortable armchairs. In addition there is balcony with another sofa, pillows and wooden chair and amazing view on green mountain =) We even slept on a sofa but despite it was hot summer season, nigh time was pretty cold for us so at 2am we moved in room. It's nice place to enjoy coffee/tea with some snack and watch sunset (yes, balcony is on western part of the house so you can see beautiful sunset). We also took telescope with us and since Abastumani is one of the best places to watch sky, we able to watch Venus, Jupiter with its three moons, Saturn and its rings... however Moon and Mars is visible only after 2am (because of the wall of the house itself) and since we were tired from hiking the same day we cannot stay awake and go sleep =) We selected this place because of its perfect locations for all our planned trips. What is worth to see: there is Akhlatsikhe only 20km from this place. So you can easily visit Ananuri castle (7 lari per person). Abastumani observatory (5, 10 or 20 lari per person, for day, evening and night tours) is another 10km from this place. In addition, you can visit Vardzia (7 lari per person) which is 40km pass the Akhaltsikhe (and another FREE castle on the way, you cannot miss it as it's on a junction to Vardzia) and finally we also did 12+12km hiking to 2.5km mountain which is near Abastuamni to the top of Imereti / Samtskhe Javakheti border. Of course you can reach the top by car (we so couple of cyclists too) within one hour but hiking gives you chance to enjoy the nature and breath perfectly clean air for free =) It took us 3 hours to reach the top and 1 hour to go back... just take at least 1L water per person OR there is couple of small streams from mountain which you can use to refill water battles (on 7th kilometer but it's too small and you may pass it and on 9th km big one). The host also cooked for us tasty biscuit, share natural fruits from her own garden. We faced problem only once, when we came back from Abastuamni observatory at 3am there was some dogs near the gate. So we were a little bit scared to go outside the car =) Later we find out that they were neighbor dogs... not scary at all. BTW hot also has parking place inside the main...

Highly recommended! We were the first guests to stay at this house. Everything was clean, modern, comfortable and well organized. Very secure parking in the walled compound of the home. The family greeted us with coffee, tea and some delicious Georgian food. We received a warm welcome from three generations of the family. The biggest surprise of all is the location of the home. First, it is surrounded by a large, beautiful garden with flowers everywhere. Second, the views from the home are incredible. After a long day of driving, we were able to relax on the balcony with some wine and look out at the clouds rolling over the mountains. I wish we could have stayed longer.
