Absolutely stunning location, description didn't do it justice. Bit challenging to get to but definitely worth it! Cottage very comfortable with everything you need. Lovely walks. Cally is a very god hostess

What a special place this is! So peaceful, with amazing views of the sea and wildlife all around. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite so wild and unspoilt. Thank you Cally for being a thoughtful and generous host. The information on the local area and history of the cottage really added to our time there, and it was great to meet you! We really enjoyed our time on Mull - what a beautiful, diverse island. I hope that wasn’t our last visit to Port Na Ba!

The only surprise you get when reaching Cally's place is it is in an even more remote and spectacular location than the listing describes. Not that Cally's notes were lacking, they were excellent. The house itself is very much as you see it on the listing, but you don't see how well fitted out it is. You want for nothing especially in the kitchen. You are in the west of Scotland, so you must know the weather can be fickle. My stay was one of those weeks where the rain came and went but the wind stayed at full bore. But it was early April so that's the chance you take. For me the weather is part of the adventure. The atmosphere of Port Na Ba and surrounding area was ethereal and so it's magic was only intensified. Cally left you to your own space but she makes herself so available if you need something you know she is ready to help. She even texted me when she heard that the northern lights were forecast to be strong that night (they were).

Wow, what a location! Fantastic views, walks and wildlife. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. If you get clear sky at nighttime the star gazing is phenomenal!
