We chose the Seven Coves area of Lake Conroe for two primary reasons. First, we just couldn't get very excited about being on the south side of the lake (the "popular" side). Down there, the lake is too far from the freeway, there's way too much traffic, and very few locations have the expansive waterfront view that we enjoy so much.
Secondly, our property is unique as it is the only place in the Greater Houston area where each unit features a Private Sunrise lakefront balcony that actually dangles over the water! We instantly fell in love with this feature! Everyone else has a strip of grass or a sidewalk between their place and the water. Not so at our place, if you drop something off the balcony...it WILL make a splash!
The location is close to perfect in many ways. Having a marina & boat ramp right next door on one side and a resort next door on the other side makes enjoying the lake extremely convenient. We ensure that our guests take full advantage of the amenities on-site and everything is within walking distance.
No matter what you do, the lake is always in the background...from the tennis and basketball courts to the swimming pool and the playground...the view of the lake is always there! Personally, we find it extremely relaxing and we know you will too~!
More importantly, our property is unique as it is the only property in Houston and on the lake that it has a private waterfront balcony that actually hangs over the water! Private vehicle will be most convenient, UBER and Taxi services are available locally. There is no public transportation. One Parking spot is provided in front of the unit, other vehicles must park in the central lot on-site (no parking in front of 'The Landing At Seven Coves'). .
The place is 5 minutes to the freeway, 45 minutes (no traffic) to IAH (George Bush Intl Airport) and the same to Downtown Houston. The Woodlands is approximately 15-20 minutes which offers all various of entertainment, food, music, etc. All major needs are only 7 minutes away (groceries, fuel, banking, etc). Enjoy fishing on site from the resort, or take a short drive from the resort to reach a 27-hole golf course, as well as sailing, waterskiing, and other water sports. Hiking and biking trails are a great way to explore nearby Sam Houston National Forest. For big-city activities, plan a drive to Houston, about an hour away. Close by is Old Town Spring with many arts and crafts shops as well as the Conroe Outlet Mall. Located not far is the Texas Renaissance Festival #TexRenFest, held for 9 weekends in October-November. Bring your boat and explore beautiful Lake Conroe. Known for trophy bass, many area fishing tournaments are held on the lake year round. If fishing or water skiing is your game, boats can be rented from the various marinas.
