We enjoyed the chateau because it is in a remote and wild setting surrounded with forest on a bend in the river. The chateau is under renovation, and were it to be finished to perfection it would have been priced out of our budget. It is south of Quimper, and we did not visit the local businesses / restaurant(s) so we cannot report on them. The staff and management were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Das Zimmer ist gross, sauber, schön und im originalen Stil eingerichtet. Das Schloss und die Umgebung traumhaft und auch interessant, wenn man die Spuren von Kommissar Dupin verfolgt! Gastgeber Evan war sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam, vielen Dank Evan für das einmalige Erlebnis!

Très bel endroit, le château, le parc sont magnifiques. Evan nous accueil avec une petite visite du château. Pour les amoureux de la nature et des belles demeures c'est un "Lieu magique ...."

Maravilloso lugar con Evan que es muy amable. El castillo es precioso y el entorno inmejorable. Nos llevamos para siempre un trozo de Bretaña. Recomendable 100%

Absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for modern, bling and glitz, then don't come here. If, however, you are looking for a REAL chateaux experience with authentic decor, grandeur, and true history, then DO come here! The long sweeping drive brings you to the most beautiful fairy tale/ Repunzel type chateau. The grounds are large, with plenty of walks; including a round trip down to the River Odet and past an old water mill. There is a large, well maintained swimming pool on site which is situated within a walled garden. The interior is in keeping with its history, with original cast iron baths, oak panels in the salon, parquet flooring and the most stunning spiral staircase. This place just oozes history and it's lovely to see that it's relatively new owners are doing a cracking job of bringing this building back to life with love and thought. Would definitely recommend.
