Everything was great. Michele and Ed are very friendly hosts. The house was also very, very nice in terms of furnishings. Everything you needed was there. Despite the limited size, the room layout is very well thought out. The location and the opportunity to grill and eat outside were great for us. We would come again.

Hosts were very responsive. Helpful for restaurants, easy check in. They were wonderful. Keep in mind when booking that it is attached to their home and we saw the husband everyday. He was very nice and helpful but that is something to keep in mind. The house was very clean, beds were super comfy, towels and beach chairs are there for use and we def did. Bikes were nice as well. I think it’s important to know that the bathroom door does not properly close and there are two gaps large enough that it def affects privacy and you can see all bathroom activity from the couch 😂 which was an issue but we worked through it. Overall, it was wonderful though, Would stay again.

The ol' Carriage House may be tiny but it's large on comfort. It's thoughtfully decorated & well-appointed with amenities. We enjoyed... java mugs & cocktails on the balcony alongside the chirping morning birds & evening insects... late night floating in the pool.. steak 'n seafood on the barbie... fenced in yard for safe dog sniffing... secure parking by the blue mango tree... close access to the Riverwalk path & our favourite dog-friendly patios at Pier 22 & Sage Biscuit Cafe... host-provided beach acoutrements for trips to Palma Sola causeway & Anna Maria Island beaches... and dog walking amongst the historic homes of the Point Pleasant neighbourhood. The hosts Ed & Michelle were prompt to reply to our 1st night, very late request. They are good, friendly folks who were not intrusive to the enjoyment of our stay. We immediately relaxed into & loved being on "river time" at this historic carriage house. We hope to get back and can wholeheartedly recommend without hesitation.

Michele and Ed are fabulous hosts. The cottage although tiny, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in Bradenton. We hope to stay again in the future.
