I have nothing but praise for Michael and the accommodation at Wines & Wings. Even though the accommodation is adjacent to their wine shop and tour guide agency, I always felt very comfortable and totally undisturbed by the activities. The room is an open plan with a fully fitted kitchen and a living room area (with TV) and was always kept cleaned. Same for the bathroom. The room opened out to a generous terrace overlooking a tranquil garden. Michael was out of town, but very responsive. Nevertheless the staff at Wines & Wings were super, very well organized and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Wine & Wings and will certainly stay there again next time I pass through Lilongwe.

It's been a great place to stay in Lilongwe for me, for quite a few years. Mike is making it even better, by developing the accommodation even further. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed my stay at Wines & Wings. Fantastic internet connection and wonderful host. Very helpful in terms of recommending reliable transport services and providing any kind of assistance where necessary. Very quiet and peaceful place for rest or focussed attention to work. Two restaurants in the vicinity, Ethiopian and Indian for tasty dishes. I give it a two thumbs up!

It was a lovely stay for a week long work trip. Mike is a friendly and helpful host and the team working around the building were so helpful and welcoming. There are some great places to eat in walking distance. A few teething problems, but these were overcome and the plans for the renovation sound great. I'll be back!
