This stay could not have been better. Trust me when I say, pictures just do not do the space justice! It was private and secluded while being as close to downtown as possible! Walking distance to all the best places and Fred and Carol could not have been more lovely and friendly. The decor and amenities are spot on. I think the best way to explain our stay… is that we booked a return trip before leaving! We woke listening to the river, came home to a meadow full of deer and got the opportunity to love on the resident felines. I can’t say enough!

Location, Location, Location! This is a hidden getaway for any couple, looking to enjoy beautiful views, quiet surroundings with all of nature all around you. Short walk to many downtown local businesses. We will definately look forward to our next trip with our great host. On our visit we had a late arrival and the host was wonderful by greeting us and showing us around the premises. The night skies were great for stargazing, it was too cold for us to adventure out on the kayaks, offered. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Great Place! Fred and Carol did a wonderful job with this spectacular cottage. We stayed for two days, and it was perfect. The cottage was very clean, and had every amenity anyone would need, even games to occupy us while it was raining. We highly recommend staying here. Thank You Fred and Carol!

If you’re looking for THE place to stay in Bellaire please look no further! Fred and Carol were top notch hosts with a fantastic spot. I travel a lot for work and leisure - I immediately felt at home meeting our hosts. You can tell they both take great pride in their property and your experience staying with them. I’d love to share a morning coffee with them next time I’m up! Walking distance from many great places to eat, drink and be merry! Great recommendations from both Fred and Carol in and around Bellaire. We look forward to coming back during the summer and indulging in more water activities!
