Our Bungalow is located in a small village call Rajpura where agriculture and milk production is main occupation so the village is surrounding by agricultural fields. Apart from this below are the things to explore.
1. Ranakpur Jain temple :
The 14th century Ranakpur temple is just 15 minutes drive from our village, it is famous for its excellent sculptures and architecture. The Temple is three storied, 102 ft. high and its spread over an area of 48000 sq. ft.
2. Kumbhalgarh fort.
This fort which is consider highest fort in India, is just 2 hours drive from our village however you can get fort glimpse from village itself. This most remarkable of forts stretches across 36 km of the Aravali mountain and is 1100 metre high from the sea level.
3. Kumbhalgarh wild life sanctuary :
This wild life sanctuary entrance is hardly 2 km away from us ; the flourishing green zone is home to many endangered species of wild life, it provides natural abode to many creatures like wolf, leopards, sloth beer, Hyena, Jackal, Jungle cat, Sambhar, Nilgai, the four horned antelope and hare.
4. Rajpura Dam
Rajpura dam is also just 1 km away from us. Its a small dam which constructed in 1960 by. The government of Rajasthan , it’s an ideal place for bird lovers.
5. Parshuram mahadev temple
This temple is another attraction nearby village just 10 km away. Its a Shiva temple and its is said that Parshuram the sixth reincarnation of lord Vishnu, made the cave with his axe and used to worship lord Shiva at this place.
6. Camel breeding form
LPPS means "welfare organization for livestock keepers" in Hindi. It was set up in 1996 to support Raika camel pastoralists in an acute crisis. Today its work continues to be inspired and shaped by the close association with this traditional pastoralist community, but its goals have widened to embrace people-centered livestock development and the sustainable management of biodiversity rich agro-ecosystems.
