Loved our weekend at the cabin! The grounds are beautiful - pristine landscaping and the serene ivy river is just a short stroll down the hill. Our kids were thrilled to collect eggs each day, try out fishing and they already miss Puck Puck the pig. Thanks to James and family for a terrific stay - we’d definitely come back!

A quiet spot to relax and get away in nature without giving up the comforts of internet, hot water and kitchen. And only 20 minutes away from Asheville. River was great to fish and cabin was cozy.

Great stay! The setting was beautiful and as advertised. James and his wife were very accommodating helping with a quick maintenance repair and delivering a high chair for our 9-month old for the duration of our stay.

Our stay was perfect! We were looking for a peaceful escape in nature (but close enough to downtown Asheville - around 20 min) and that’s exactly what this was. The land is beautiful and the cabin is adorable. We loved our walk around the property, meeting puck puck the pig, visiting the chicken coop, and watching the wild rabbits outside as we ate breakfast. James checked in with us and made it known that he was available if we needed anything. Only complaint - we wished we could have stayed longer! We’ll definitely be back!

What a beautiful stay! We loved everything about it. So peaceful, clean, fun design, and more. We sipped coffee while watching deer on the back hill! It’s just perfect. We will be back!
