Hello! My name is Evgenia but everyone calls me Zenia. I was raised in one of the most beautiful parts of the world in the beautiful traditional village Megalochori. After my studies in hospitality management and tourism in Athens, I decided to work with my best friend as hostess in Sailing cruise company . I love living by the sea and I cannot imagine myself living in big city! Working as a hostess in sailing company and being in a boat every day , was definitely the best five years of my life. That's when I met Dimitris who was a skipper. Dimitris was born and was raised south coast of Athens. Spent his life windsurfing in worldwide competitions and then decided to sail with commercial yachts and sailing boats. He was lucky enough to live in this property since 2008, since the owners are family friends of him. The owners were always hosting friends and family every Easter and summertime. In 2017 they decided to spread this unique experience and feeling with visitors from allover the world and asked me and Dimitris to help with the operation . Then the idea of Akrorama was born. The exact meaning of the word Akrorama is Akrotiri-Orama , which orama means vision. In 2018 we decided to add three private suites to accommodate honeymooners and couples, as well. We love our life here in Akrorama in this specific place ,on the top of the hill of Akrotiri village away from the busy parts. We love animals and respect the nature and as locals we try to do our best for the island we live.
