As a licensed GC in the State of Colorado, working primarily with rental turns/renovations, I have an eye for how things “should be.” The first thing I noticed about this property was how filthy the walls were, followed by noticing the expired smoke detectors. I couldn’t tell you if there were CO detectors within 15’ of each bedroom, as the smoke detectors were likely combination smoke/CO. The company these poor owners hired does an abysmal maintenance job. Our first night, one of our guests didn’t sleep well as she thought she heard toilets constantly flushing & thought it was our neighbors. Turns out, all 3 upper toilet fill valves were broken, & 2 toilets leaked from the tank. Day 2 yielded a massive flood - we had to vacate the unit. Retreatia sent a new employee who had no idea on proper water mitigation standards. He went to Walmart & bought box fans. This leads me to believe Retreatia doesn’t properly maintain units & theirs are unlikely safe. They offered no credit/no contact.

A great stay close to the mountain! The best part was the Retreatia shuttles going to and from the mountain every ten mins

Perfect spot for a girls ski trip. A farther walk to the gondola but still we were able to walk. They have a shuttle available as well!

The cleaning fee was quite a lot for just two people staying at the property, but we understand there are normally more people at the property during a stay. The team was fairly easy to communicate with, but check in instructions seemed to be a little more confusing than needed. My only complaint is that the hot tub was very dirty and when I pulled the filter, it clearly hasn’t been replaced in years (or even cleaned). I have two spas myself and have never seen such a dirty filter, the part to hold it down was even broken. Eeek, very gross unfortunately but we enjoyed all other aspects of our stay.
