I stayed 2 nights in Mercy's place. Although Mercy wasn't there to host me, but her mom gave me a warm welcome. Her mom was very friendly and very kind, trying to understand my poor chinese :D. The place is very comfy and surrounded by countryside. My conclusion : a very nice experience.

Staying at Mercy's place in Guanxi was a wonderful experience for me! Mrs. Chan and Mercy were extremely warm hosts, and I enjoyed the stay from the first moment. At just over an hour from Taipei and less than an hour from Hsinchu, Guanxi provides a wonderful retreat within reach of the big cities. It's a perfect location for a weekend outside of the buzzing city life, and Mercy and Mrs. Chan will do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. All necessities are catered to in Mrs. Chan's and Mercy's home, and you'll feel like home from the moment you enter the door. Above all, this place radiates a vibrant and homely atmosphere, and I feel very glad that I was able to experience the hosts' hospitality! In Guanxi, be sure to try the Hakka-food, go for a hike or a ride on the bike (Mrs. Chan and Mercy kindly offered me to borrow one of theirs), or just wander this beautiful town of about 30,000 inhabitants. Whether you need some last minute necessities or fresh fruits, you will find it in Guanxi at a very affordable price. To summarize, my stay at Mrs. Chan's and Mercy's house was wonderful, and I can highly recommend everyone to pay a visit to this listing. You definitely won't regret it!
