Carmel was a wonderful host. She was able to accommodate an early check-in and when GWR services were not optimal due to a strike. She was helpful and kind and friendly at every step. Her dog Freddie is a sweetie!

Carmel’s place is a great place to stay just outside Oxford city centre. I felt very comfortable there, and the room was cozy and quiet. Everything was super clean and Carmel is a very welcoming host. Meeting her lovely dog Freddie is an added bonus :)

Carmel and her home are an absolute delight. Communicating with me before arriving in Oxford, Carmel made sure to be there when I checked in, offering both freshly made mint tea (delicious) and maps around the Oxford area, advising me on the best places to eat, drink, and the easiest ways around the city. It was easily the warmest welcome I've ever received to an AirBnB, and immediately made me feel right at home. As for the room itself, and by extension the house, it was immaculately clean and beautifully presented, with comfortable furniture and a cosy vibe throughout. If I ever have the pleasure of visiting again, I won't hesitate to first contact Carmel before I do so - a gift of a host.
