Thank you to Firouz, Kayed, Doreen & family for making our stay such a pleasure. We loved every minute of it. If you want to experience true local Bedouin life in the village, have delicious traditional Bedouin food and have your own expert guide through Petra/Wadi Musa, this is the place to book. We also had the pleasure of meeting Firouz's extended family which was also a pleasure. Having conversations over dinner & tea was very enjoyable and enlightening. It really gave me insight into local life as well as the country as a whole. A special shout out to the lovely Amal! It was an absolute honour for us to stay with Firouz & her family, I hope to see you all again some day. May God bless you all.

We were very well received by Firouz and her warm, welcoming, lovely and lively family in the Bedouin village of Uum Sayhoun near Petra. Firouz and family will provide you with the best tips and tricks to get the most out of Petra. But it just doesn't stop with merely providing tourist information. This open minded and hardworking family is happy to share their family live with travellers. In the evenings, while sharing a splendid cup of Bedouin tea, you will learn so much more about Bedouin family live and their relationship with Petra. We also highly recommend Firouz' delicious local cuisine which you can enjoy in the evenings after a long day in Petra. If you prefer authenticity and a cosy atmosphere over a standardized and sterile hotel experience, you definately have come to the right place.

As a native of the New World, this was truly a remarkable Old World experience. You will see children playing in the streets even after dark. Donkeys and camels roam the roads. You will awaken in the morning to the calls of roosters. On top of that, Firouz is a wonderful host and her family will provide breakfasts and dinners with delicious and authentic meals.

The rooms of Firouz are actually in her home. You will live there with her and her familly. We found this a wonderfull experience. As a Bedouin they can tell you everything about the life in and around petra. Firouz is great and she and her family make your stay special (note that her cooking is wonderfull!!)
