Great location for AH heli skiing.

This place was a perfect home base for a heli skiing adventure for my son and I. Alaska Heli Skiing's 35 mile heli base is 2 miles up the road. The cabin was stocked with everything you need and nothing you don't. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen so we could cook up some great dinners during our trip. We stocked up on food from Costco in Juneau on the way up, knowing that groceries in Haines are pretty expensive. The TV is a nice touch, but I appreciated the fact that there was no cable. We were provided with a stack of movies to choose from. There is internet available for a small fee, but the connectivity is pretty intermittent and unreliable, which was actually a plus for us because it is there if you need it, but the lack of consistent connectivity keeps you from staring at your screen for hours on end. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and we will be back! Thanks to Robby for being a fantastic host.

Cannot say enough good things, we have stayed here numerous times and will always come back. Wonderful location full of wildlife, gorgeous sunrise and sunsets. Cabins have everything you need and the food at the roadhouse is wonderful. We try to come several times a year as you have different things to explore all year round. March is so nice with the snow and snow machines too. I live in Juneau I do not have a cabin of my own and don't need to, this is my second home, Haines & 33 Mile Roadhouse has my heart.
