Our group enjoyed our stay at this lakeside home. This couple was so very helpful and generous! Karen and Galen are two of the most accommodating and welcoming hosts we’ve had. Karen was so great with our kids and had kind things to say to all of us. Galen was so patient in setting us up with all kinds of beachy-things (inflatables, kayaks, etc) and answering our many questions. One of the adults said “it was a nice change from crowded public beaches, and more peaceful.” The area feels very safe and the lakeside beach in the backyard was awesome. The breakfast was great. It would be helpful to have some of the photos updated and perhaps some more fridge/freezer room in the larger room. A tip to guests to bring your own paper plates etc, but Harding’s and Family Dollar are only 10 minutes away. Thank you so much for a great stay! We would be happy to visit again.

Loved the lake view and the amenities the place offered. Hosts were very friendly and easy to go to with questions or concerns. Breakfast was delicious. Very homey feel. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and friendly getaway.

Karen and Galen were accommodating, welcoming, & very nice! The house (1 step to get in and out, front+back) is located right off a beautiful lake. There is parking in front of a short walkway. The hosts live at the other end of the house, but 2 guest bedrooms (1 Q and up to 5 smaller beds) are on the kitchen side. The other 2 bedrooms are down the hall (1 Q and 2 twins), w/ a shared full or half bathroom for all visiting guests. We appreciated the fridge/freezer, privacy divers in the big room, nightlights, as well as paper towels, trash/recycling containers in the room, etc! We did utilize the wall hooks. Everything seemed clean & well-kept. A few of us had some of the best sleep in weeks! We enjoyed various freshly-made breakfast foods that were so good- they even worked around any dietary restrictions! The homemade jam is just yum. The area is quiet and feels safe. We loved being near the water, kayaking, shell-searching, etc! Perhaps update a few pictures. Thanks for hosting!

We had an incredible Notre Dame weekend. The homemade breakfast was a great way to start the day. Galen and Karen were great hosts!

We loved staying at this mid-century lake house loaded with family history! The views of the lake are so peaceful and serene. Sharing a bath with other people is never high on my list, but it wasn't a problem here! Two potties were available. Besides, the hosts were so warm and welcoming, I felt like old friends or family. The breakfast was delicious, complete with homemade jam. Thank you Karen and Galen!
