Even before I booked Melissa's cottage, she was quick to answer any questions I had and even while we were there. Upon arrival at the cottage, the view was breathtaking, the cottage was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. Her cottage is cozy and beds were very comfortable. I used the kayak and my son used the pedal boat but it was pretty windy two days of our stay and we didn't get out on the lake as much as we wanted. Fishing was pretty great right off the dock. Since we were there Thanksgiving weekend, it was a little chilly for swimming. Peaceful and quiet, other than hearing the odd car or truck going by on the main road when outside. I would definitely recommend Melissa's cottage. Thanks for hosting us Melissa!!

This was our second two-week stay at Melissa's cottage; we again had a great time and plan to return. The cottage is spacious and nicely decorated, and the property is secluded but still offers great views of open water. The waterfront is well-equipped with 6 kayaks, a sturdy canoe, and a peddle boat. We did a lot of canoeing and enjoyed the variety of interesting routes available.

Cottage was nice, ceiling fans need to be secured . Water was slimy and got a reddish film all over us while swimming. Beds were good and comfortable. We were disappointed by the water as we all love to swim. Nice area and living facility was good.

We stayed at this fantastic cottage in June. Easily the most comfortable and well equipped property we have rented. Our 1st impression when we walked in was - wow what a view!  There are 3 nice sized bedrooms, comfy beds and smart storage,  2 living areas, 2 bathrooms, and a well equipped kitchen with really nice pots and pans. The wifi is strong - we had three people working and no dropped signals!! It was a warm month, so having AC was perfect. The views are beautiful from everywhere on the property, whether you are inside the cottage, on the deck, on one of the spacious docks, or in the lovely gazebo, and we enjoyed exploring in the canoe and pedal boat. Location is great, a quick drive (or long walk) to the Log Cabin Store for supplies, water and gas.  Communication with Melissa was easy -  she responded quickly to any questions we had. We are looking forward to our next stay!
