I’ve stayed at Jason’s apartment prior to the changes to building security. I loved the apartment, it’s clean, amenities surround it and had a great view of the river. However with the changes there was a fatal flaw and the reason for this lengthy review: in order to access the apartment, you need the owner of the apartment to physically be there and fingerprint you in so you can use the lift, or building security (whom on every single request refused to help or acknowledge us). Again, in order to use the lift (enter the building) you need to have one of the helpers physically be there to fingerprint you in, EVERY SINGLE TIME. You want to pop down to use the 7/11? Contact them to get you back up. You come home and want to shower? Contact them to get you back up. You forget something in the apartment before heading out? They need to be there to get you back up. 24/7 unhindered access to an apartment is a vital part of renting accommodation, don’t be fooled by the descriptions that state ‘improved security’ or ‘personal access’, it literally just means the building is sick of airbnb guests and now require the owner’s fingerprint to access the lifts. They said security could assist you when Jason or his helpers weren’t there (who in our experience often took 15-20 mins to meet us anyway so what was the point?), however security never acknowledged and refused to help, and I’m a Vietnamese speaker, so good luck to those who don’t speak it. This isn’t Jason or the apartment’s specific fault, it’s due to the new changes in security, this also meant the gym and pool were off limits as obviously you need the owner to physically be there.. again another flaw. While it isn’t their fault, i wouldn’t recommend this for anybody unless you’re okay with the above, or until the changes are reversed. To Jason’s credit, he kindly refunded me the 3/5 days i had remaining without issue. Him and his team were overall good with communication.

This accommodation is very clean, has a good view in a very good location and is very safe. It's a little smaller than what you see in the picture, but you can still feel satisfied enough. It is very uncomfortable that you should always contact the host to get on the elevator (of course they always respond quickly).
