Steve is easily one of the best hosts one could ask for in the world. He is kind and caring. It is important to have someone like Steve when you travel to a remote island such as Adak. Steve’s manager Mark made sure our stay is pleasant. I witnessed how they take care of their guests, like a family. They helped us navigate the unique checkin process with the airport, going above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of during the flight cancellations. Adak is an extremely unpredictable environment. Having Steve and his team (Mark) makes the whole experience enjoyable. The home has Starlink satellite Internet. That makes the place suitable for work from home as well. The entire island feels like a family. There is a restaurant in town where many locals join for dinner. If you are considering Adak Island for your vacation/getaway, go for it and book one of Steve’s properties. Due to its location and Internet, I would recommend this property also for work/professional visits.

Steve was an excellent host. He communicated well before our arrival then greeted us at the airport as promised. From there he escorted us to the house, showed us around the place and made sure we had what we needed for our visit. The house was consistent with the pictures and provided a perfect base for our hunt. Adak exceeded our expectations.

Steve’s place was better than expected . He took great care of us checking to make sure all was going great and even giving us a short tour of the island. Would highly recommend Steve’s places. To anyone visiting Adak

During our stay the power on the island went out. Steve quickly set up a generator to ensure we had some power but most importantly we had hot water. Couldn’t ask for a better host.
