My room that I received smelled like smoke. The bed was hard as a rock that it was not sleepable. The carpet was very old thin and floors were uneven. There was hairs in bed and bathroom and looked like they didn't clean it good enough. Was so disappointed I left not even 5 minutes checking in.

The check-in process was smooth, even for a late afternoon on Christmas Day. Motel suites are right off the highway and near gas stations making it very convenient to be « in-and-out ». And « in-and-out » is what we did. The place was so gross and eerie. Luckily we had family in town who lent us bed sheets and pillow cases. The place has so much potential but has been essentially abandoned. There was hair in the sink, the tub was either stained or not cleaned in a while, towels may have been clean but were definitely stained. We used our own towels and we made sure our belongings didn’t touch any fabric or soft materials. The night was quiet. I had an okay sleep. We weren’t allowed to turn off the exterior porch light (due to security) so my husband didn’t sleep well with the amount of light flooding in from behind the curtains. No deadbolt, just the chain door lock. The heater is at an awkward height and I nearly burnt my shoulder on it. We won’t be back unless we see upgrades.

Very beautiful spot, would 10/10 recommend if you are just passing through, lots of good restaurants around.

The TV dis not work and the very nice guys on the front desk fixed it.
