Pedro's apartment seemed recently renovated and was spotless, with all amenities one could want. The bedroom and one bathroom are on a level higher than the kitchen/living room and the other bathroom, allowing for some separation to do some quiet work. The location is great for walking to the center and all attractions, and there are several nice restaurants and supermarkets close by. Pedro was very responsive and accommodated a late-night arrival. This seems one of the few Porto apartments that are managed by a person and has a personal touch. The one thing to note is that it's on a very busy road - it's just one lane with cobblestones, but unfortunately seems to be a throughway with heavy traffic. So don't count on open windows if you want it quiet. On the other hand it's interesting to watch the chaos is the street below from a few floors up.

The apartment was beautiful and in a great location. Pedro was an amazing host, showing us the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood. He went above and beyond recommending and walking with us to a place to eat our first evening. He gave us many recommendations on restaurants and things to do. He responded to all communication quickly. We hope to stay there again.
